Envelope Gift Card Holder

Believe or not, this was made from a regular size envelope (5-3/4" x 4-3/8"). Glad to see the glitter outline for the Top Note did show up in the photo. Sponging of the Top Note edges did not show up in the photo. The large snowflake is embossed in white. The Top Note, cut in half, is also in the back of the envelope gift holder and is also stamped like the front. Dimensionals are used behind the Top Note.
Here's a close-up view of the the glitter outline around the top note. Note the Horizontal Slot punch used for the ribbon.
Here is the view with the envelope opened. After folding envelope in half, cut flap on fold line and seal close the left side of the envelope. Glitter is also applied on the card stock edge. Cut and reshape right side of flap, if necessary to match. This photo shows the flap tucked in. "Dec. 25" has glitter but does not show up in this photo.
See the co-ordinating Red gift card under the right side flap.
The glitter on the edge of the Real Red shows up better in this photo.

  1. I like it! Very glittery, even where you felt it didn't show up! Jeannie

  2. Love the card and tutorial! I have found that the scallop envelope is too small to hold the gift cards we can get here in the U.S. Did you alter it to make it wider?
