Shy Marci Fold Album

La-la land Crafts 2 day workshop Project #8:
This fabulous incredible Fold Out Album project has a lot of embellishments and details. Shy Marci is stamped using Momento Rich Cocoa ink. She is popped with foam squares, then positioned over the Oval opening. Finished project size is 9” x 6-1/2” x ¼”.  Can you see all the details?

 Here's a  detail of the “dots” of Gold Viva Pearl Pen on the Open Hearts Doily Border:

The sides are die cuts using the Heart Fan: die cutting 2 for each side.  Contrast card stock to offset and reveal the shadow. Adding “dots” created by a Viva Gold Pearl Pen in between the circles in the die. Topiary Trees are popped with foam squares.

 Cloud is popped with foam squares. Bird House is popped with foam squares.

Rolled Roses are position in the bottom right corner, brushed using a White Viva Pearl Pen while the Open Leaf Flourish has “dots” of Gold Viva Pearl Pen.

On top of this project is the Open Hearts Doily Border (also off set to show the contrast color card stock underneath) and functions as a pull out for the mat attached. Add “dots” created by a Gold Viva Pearl Pen in between the squares in the die.  Finished mat size is 5” x 3-3/4”. A nice surprise…………..eh?

 Flip up the front to reveal:

Side tag: finished size 5” x 3-1/4”, double matted with a Stitched Circle folded in half as the “pull”.  Use a We R Memory Keepers Crop-o-Dile hole punch through all those layers, then thread a crumpled seam binding ribbon through the hole.

 Album back: popped with foam squares to allow the side tag to easily pull out.

Birthday Cake Marci Shaker Card

La-la Land Crafts 2 day workshop Project #7:
Original card design used image from Paper Doll Marci – Birthday. The stamped message and candles are from the Paper Doll Marci – Birthday stamp set.  The image I replaced with Birthday Cake Marci. Both images can be found int he La-la Land Crafts store here. Finished card size: 5-1/2” x 5-1/2”.  Shaker window is approximately 3-1/2” wide.

Marci with Camera Album

La-la Land Crafts 2 day workshop Project #6: 
Original album design was to be using the newly release Handyman Luka image.  I used the image from Club la-la Land Crafts November 2014 Project Kit featuring Marci with Camera stamp, Smile Word Die, and Photo Elements Die Set (Film Strip Die).  You will need to join the monthly kit to receive any early images and dies. So sorry you missed out on this release but there is still time for the next month's special stamp, die, and project. Entire project is lightly sponged with brown ink. Finished project size: 5-1/2” x 5-1/2” x ¼”
On the cover: dies not from the Club la-la Land Crafts November 2014 Project Kit is the recently released Stitched Circle Die and the Stitched Ribbon Die.

Inside:
Left fold down page cover has a Stitched Circle Die and the Stitched Ribbon Die. The Stitched Ribbon is attached at the top and bottom so a photo or tag can be slipped underneath. 

Open the flap to reveal:
Center booklet: finish size is 3-7/8” x 3-7/8” x 1/8”.  Love this surprise fully matted little booklet in the middle of this album.  Spine is attached using strong 1/8” sticky tape.  

Right fold out flap is also using the Stitched Circle Die and the Stitched Ribbon Die. The Stitched Ribbon is attached on each end a photo or tag can be slipped underneath. 

Open the right fold out flap to reveal more spaces for journaling and photos.  Again, the Ribbon Die attached on the right and left side ends to slip a photo or tag underneath. 

Side pull out tag: finished tag size 4” x 5” and is double matted. Note the Stitched Circle Die is used for the “pull”. Use the We R Memory Keepers Crop-O-Dile to punch that hole, thread a color co-ordinating raffia to make a bow.

Building Birdhouse Luka Shaped Card

La-la Land Crafts 2 day workshop Project #5:
This shaped bird house card is embellished using lots of interesting dies from the La-la land Crafts store. Building Birdhouse Luka is one of the new releases from La-la Land Crafts.  Finished card size is 6-1/2” x 6-1/2”.  Stitched Ribbon Die is layered on top for the roof.  It is also used for the card base on the bottom.  Lightly sponge the ribbon die with some brown ink, adhere.  More details in photos below.

The front of the card is very detailed:  Tools Border is cut twice: once in Gold Card Stock and again in Olive Green Card Stock.  Use the negative to fill in the space for those tool elements to create this effect.  The bottom strip is from the Stitched Ribbon die.

Card inside: Double mat inside with the bottom using the Stitched Ribbon die as a finishing touch.

Card back: love the back of this card.  Love the Stitched Circle die used for a contrast at the bottom of the Bird House. This adds a little more interest to the card back.  Back is Double mat underneath the Bird House and Bird.

Marci on Scooter

La-la Land Crafts 2 day workshop Project #4:
This is a 7-3/4” x 7-3/4” Paper Board Project.  This can be a wall hanging or be the front to a mini album.  Main image is the recent release Marci on Scooter found here.  The base layer is the natural color Paper Board.  Then Black, Kraft and Designer Paper for the first series of mats. The second smaller mat is also a paper board 5-1/2” x 5-1/2” natural paper board square with a black card stock mat.   Other layers are Kraft with some interesting die cut layer: Several layers of the Eiffel Tower Die is cut in Black card stock, positioned to the left of the top mat. The Kraft Topiary Trees are cut in duplicate so they are sturdy on the top layer mat.
