Tea Time Tea Holder

Whoo - hoo....this is such a fabulous Dandelion Designs stamp: (MC-24) Tea Time. I just had to have it. It's so cute and the perfect stamp for packaged teas to give.  This tea holder was originally a candy template (found here). Final measurement  was made using my computer program SCAL to fit the specific tea bags enclosed.  Finished measurement is 2-3/4" x 3".  The scallop oval is a free SVG computer cut file from SVGcuts.com.
Copic colors used:  E55, E31, R20, E21, RV10, R85, W1
Teapot and tea cup are popped with dimensionals. Vanilla seam binding used. The dress?  It's the backside of the pattern paper from Imaginisce Garden party Brambleberry Blossoms.  The light turq scallop oval and waist contrast is paper from DCVW Summer Dream Card Stock Mat Stack. This contrast color worked perfectly with the Imaginisce Paper.

Asian Doll Thank You

Here's a Thank You card that rocks!!!! I cased the layout from Jin. The Asian Doll is part of the Happily Ever After SVG cut file from Lettering Delights. I used my SCAL computer program and my Silhouette to cut this cutie. The Kanji characters are a free SVG cut file from Jin Yong (Under the Cherry Tree) found here. Patterned paper is from My Little Shoebox (from 2010 so not sure if it is still available or not) called Harmony - Tranquility. Card base is SU Old Olive, mat is DCVW's Summer Dream mat stack pack. Finish off the card with some pink grosgrain ribbon.
A closer look at the Kanji Characters cut using Black card stock, adhered using a Quickie Glue Pen: Clouds are punched using the Fiskars Large cloud punch and embossed with Cuttlebug Dot embossing folder.
The Asian Doll: adhesive rhinestones in her hair, adhesive pearls for her earrings, and of course she is holding  a antique coin. Her dress is a Cuttlebug Asian embossing folder. She is popped with dimensionals. She is about 3-1/4" high. Isn't she just the cutest?

Hope you all liked this card.  Enjoy yourself and have a great crafting day....................

Paradise Woodie Album

It's Summer (still) and this album sure makes the Summer even more fun. This was a Pine Cone Press kit which came with everything to complete this Paradise Woody Album.  You can purchase the kit here. Finished size is 12" x 6".  Don't you just love that Red Woodie.  The panels are really cut wood which was sponged with SU Chocolate Chip ink.  And, Like the silver trim on the Woodie?  It's a clear wire adhered with some wet glue.  Those tires are really large buttons. You will notice the photo mats have been positioned with removable tape until the photos can be permanently placed.
The Woodie is opened to reveal the following pages which are self explanatory:
Did you just love this album.  I am sure it will be a very memorable keepsake.

Tropical Drink Pocket Cards

How about a Tropical Drink as pocket card for a special message?  You've seen those potted flower pots that have a pull out message...............now here's one that is cute from My Scrap Chick. The cut file is called Luau Pocket Card and can be found here. Cuttlebug Tiny Bubbles embossing folder used for the "glasses".  All edges were lightly sponged using brown ink.
Here's the tall pocket card (finished length 7-1/2" high x 3-1/4" wide: which was a paper piecing Tropical Drink.  It was easily converted into a tall pocket card (just like the shorter one). Front view:
Insert removed:
Back view:
And this shorter drink card is the Luau Pocket card 5-1/2" high x 3" wide; just a shorter version of the above but with the same cuteness.
Card insert removed:
Back of card:
Hope you enjoyed this different pocket card and make some for yourself to give.............enjoy your crafting day.

Miyoko Double Slider Match Box

This is the third and last image from Sister Stamps Release #8: Miyoko. It's time I made something in red so I used some SU retired designer paper that I have been hoarding.  This is a double slider matchbox treat holder.  The SU exclusive Sizzix Matchbox die was used for this project.  There is a video tutorial on the Split Coast Stampers site here. That Lacy Oval is actually a FREE SVG cut file from SVGcuts.com (posted on 4-25-11). The shape is easily re-sized using my SCAL computer program for this project.  I love that!!! There are four Hershey nuggets inside............yummy.
Copic Colors used for Miyoko:
Hair: W10, W8, W7, W5, W4
Cupcake: E71
Dress/Hair: R46, RV10, R81
Pull the decorative knot to reveal:
The knot tie is from my stash. These can be possibly purchased from a local Asian Store or even a Asian Stationary store may have them. Attach to end of matchbox through a pierced hole. Then secure ends either by gluing them down or really sticky tape.
The stamped message is actually from SU On Your Birthday. I cut off the other words "it's your day" to get this snipped message. You can see part of the "slider - 1-1/4" square punch used for the clear plastic mechanism slider.
Back of the Matchbox: nice and clean.
Hope you enjoy this post...............have yourself a very crafty day.
