Joy Banner Gift

This is the completed gift banner. It's about 4 feet long from end to end. The "tails" are Red Pico edge satin ribbon which gives a little more character to the banner. This is the "J" - I decided not to fold down the 1/2" at the top of the banner. I used this area to allow for the Ribbon channeling through. There are dimensionals behind both the scallop circle and "J".
There are (2) snowflakes on the "O".
The "Y" is made the same way as the "J".
Here is the "spacers" for the banner. It has the scallop circle #2 die with dimensionals. The Snowflake die is attached with a smaller dimensional and a "Bling" at the center.
This is the close-up showing the "bling" at the center of the snowflake.
This is the close-up of the smaller snowflakes used in the banner. Both the snowflake and the "bling" are attached by using mini glue dots.
Supplies:
  • CS: Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss, Holiday Treasures DS
  • Accys: Pennant Bigz XL die, Scallop Circle Die, Scallop #2 Die, Horizontal slot Punch, Gold Cord (retired), Dimensionals, Old Olive 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon, Red and White Satin Pico Edge ribbon (non SU)
  • Letters were created by using the Cricut: 3-1/2" Keystone cartridge.

Holiday Bell Ornament

Can you tell this is Ornament Week?
I got one of these great ornaments from the 2008 Convention - I think they are called a "German Bell" ornament. I'm not sure who originally made these - I was clueless and didn't get the name of the demonstrator. If anyone knows, please let me know so she can get credit. Lots of folding to create this shape. The Score-Pal is definitely suggested to be used to make this. I added the Silver cord and the beads from the Pretties Kit for the "tassels" and at the end of the bow.
Instead of a close-up view, here's a far away view.
Now here is the close-up view showing the scoring, stamping and embossing.
Supplies:

  • Stamp: Holiday Collection
  • CS: Real Red
  • Ink: White Craft Ink, Versamark
  • Accys: Silver Embossing powder, Silver Cord (retired), Pretties Kit, Mini Glue Dots

Joy Ornament

Are you surprised! A red ornament....and with a snowflake. I wouldn't mind a whole tree with these. The sponging around the scallops is not showing up in the photo. 1/16" hand held punch used in between the scallops.
Here's a close-up: 2 way glue pen is used to add the Dazzling Diamond Glitter around the letters. There are dimensionals behind each square. The snowflake is using a mini glue dot in the center.
Supplies:

  • Stamp: Lovely Letters
  • Ink: Real Red, Craft White
  • CS: Real Red, Whisper White
  • Accys: Round Tab Punch, Crop-o-dile, Silver Elastic cord, White Eyelet, Sponge, Dimensionals, 1-1/4" Square Punch, 1-3/8 Square Punch, 1/16" hand held Punch, Big Shot Scallop die and Big Shot Snowflake die, Mini Glue Dot, 2 way glue pen, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.

Holiday Ornaments

I have been seeing a bunch of these so I thought I would give it a try. I used my left over Holiday Treasures scraps from a recent class project and came up with these treasures. Like them? They are made by using the Big Shot - no stamping - well, on the inside.
This is a trio of ornaments made with the Big Shot. Simple and quick - family will be getting a lot of these!

This ornament is the Scallop #2 Big Shot Die. I scored across the top about 1/2" so the front can flip up and a message or photo can be placed. There is piercing in between the scallops.
This ornament is using the Bird with Leaves & Flower die and Scallop Circle die. The bird is attached with dimensionals. There is piercing in between each scallop. The top of the card is also scored about 1/2" to allow the front to flip up.
This ornament is also using the Scallop Big Shot Die and the Join the Cheer Decorative Stripe Die. I had an extra scallop circle so I also placed it on this card with piercing in between the scallops
Supplies:
  • Big Shot Dies: Scallop Circle, Scallop Circle #2, Join the Cheer Decorative Strip, Birds w/Leaves & Flower
  • CS: Holiday Treasures Design Paper, Chocolate Chip, Ruby Red, Whisper White (back of card)
  • Accys: Piercer, Round Tab Punch, Crop-o-dile, Silver Elastic, White Eyelet, Dimensionals, 3/8" Red Taffeta Ribbon
