Birthday Frenchie Shaker Card

Irina (owner and Grand Princess Designer) of La-la Land Crafts hosted a 2 day workshop recently in Milpitas.  It is a annual event.  The workshop had 12 projects during the 2 day event. Many projects used new dies and stamps so these projects will be posted as the releases are made by La-la Land Crafts. Check out the new July release today for Frenchie here. There will be no spoilers here. All other dies used for this card can be found here.  All papers used to make this card was supplied and cut at the 2 day workshop.

Details of this card:
Finished card size: 5-1/4" x 6".
Stamp: Birthday Frenchie
Dies used:   Postage Stamp Die, Build-a-frame Stitched Large Die, Stitched Nested Heart Die, Flag Banner Die, Paw Scallop Border, Woof Die, Dog House.

 Copics used: W0, W1, W2, W3, W4, W5, W7, E01. Adhere a pom pom to the top of the hat.
Flag banner Die is cut three times. Back banner die is solid Golden Yellow card stock, then Cream card stock, with a pattern designer paper on top. Note Flag banner is cut apart, then adhered on top.
Small postage stamp is die cut twice. Once in Cream card stock, then Golden Yellow card stock. Pop with foam squares.  Stamp the cupcake and paper piece the cupcake liner.  A white gel pen is used for the candle - add Diamond Stickles to the candle flame and
cupcake top.

Shaker is made using Stitched Nested Heart Die for the opening, then cutting a smaller heart using Cream card stock.  Add the acetate to the front portion of the card.  Then add the sprinkles: which include white seed beads, pink sequins, and die cut white card stock bones. For a new "pop-up", we used 3mm foam sheets instead of foam tape.  This is a new idea from Irina - the foam sheet will keep the front panel from caving in and is great for mailing, too.  Bones are part of the newly released Dog House Die.
Woof word is a newly released die cut twice: Cut in Cream card stock, then off set with Golden Yellow card stock.  The Paw Scallop Border is cut twice: Once in Cream card stock, then off set with Golden Yellow card stock.  Add twill ribbon across the front of the card using sticky tape.
Card inside: Both the Decorative paper and Cream card stock are part of the Stitched Heart Die cut used on the front cover. Cut the Build-a-frame Die in half after stamping the message.

Card Back: Making use of the "negative" portions from the Stitched Heart Die.
Love this stamp (not sure source since it is quite old).
Thank you for joining me today..........stay tuned for more projects from the workshop.
