Kyoto Kuties Ebellishment Gift

I'm late again! Urgh..........this is a birthday present sent off to a friend. Hopefully she would have received it by the time this is posted, otherwise the surprise will be spoiled. The packaging is recycled from Papertrey Inc. The belly band is paper from Fung Hosokawa Design which is exclusively available from Scrap-n-Stamp in Elk Grove, California. The belly band is cut at 1-3/4" wide and wrapped around the packaging. Excess scrap from trimming decorates each corner of the container.....why throw it away or save....right? Use it! A Spellbinder Nestibility is used for the label...............punch a 1/8" hole to secure the taffeta ribbon. Since my friendis so creative making cards, she can create any type of card using these embellishments.

Belly Band removed

Unwrap the pink tissue paper to reveal those SVG cut files called Kyoto Kuties from Jin Yong and a Bamboo embellishment, too. There are 3 of each embellishment in a plastic bag.

Here's a closer view of each embellishment. The Bamboo SVG cut file is from Lettering Delights: Asia cut at 4-3/4" and is meant to fit on a A2 card. Each Kyoto Kutie is cut at 4" high. This one has the dress (middle section) embossed using the Cuttlebug Asian folder. The flower in her hair is popped with dimensionals.

The left Kutie sleeves has embossed Swiss Dots texture and is popped with dimensionals. The right one originally had hair buns on the side which I cut off because they seemed a bit "large". The sleeve of the right Kutie is popped with dimensionals since the fan is made of 2 layers. The right sleeve is tucked underneath the fan.

This Kutie also has the Swiss Dot embossed sleeves popped with dimensionals. An embossed Asian folder for the dress. I love the umbrella she is holding.
