12 Projects: Polar Bear Card

Here's a Punched Polar Bear card I have wanted to make for YEARS! Yup - you heard it, for years!!! I have seen many versions of this card and finally sat down to do one of my own version.....so THANK YOU ALL for your inspiration.

Punch bear details:
Large Bear
:
Head: (1) Ornament Punch
Snout: (1) Large Oval Punch
Ears: (2) ½” Circle Punch
Body: (1) Wide Oval Punch
Eyes: (2) from 2 Step Owl Punch
Nose: (1) 1/8” Circle Punch
Small Bear:
Head & Body: (2) 1” circle Punch
Snout: (1) Small Oval Punch
Ears: (2) 3/8” Circle Punch
Eyes: (2) from 2 Step Owl Punch
Nose: (1) 1/8” Circle Punch

Card details"
(1) (1) 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” in Brilliant Blue, score @4-1/4” along the 8-1/2” side
(1) 5-1/4” x 4” in Silver CS
(1) 2-1/2” x 5” Whisper White, tear, flip one of the torn pieces to make the snow "curves", adhere to Brocade Blue, apply glitter to torn edge.
(1) 2-1/2” x 5” Whisper White, emboss with any type of snowflake folder

Use sponge daubers with Bashful Blue ink on the punched bear pieces:

Adhere bear pieces using a 2 way glue pen. Use tweezers to pick up the eyes:

Apply dimensionals to the back of the bear heads.

Adhere any type of glitter glue to the bottom half torn pieces.

Position the embossed snowflake section to the card front. Position the bottom half of the curved snow, sliip in the bear bodies under the "snow curves". Adhere the bear heads. Stamp message using Bashful Blue ink.

  • Accys: Snowflake Embossing Folder. (non SU), Glitter Glue (non SU), Ornament Punch, Wide Oval Punch, Large Oval Punch, Small Oval Punch, 1" Circle Punch, 1/2" Circle Punch, 3/8" Circle Punch (non SU), 2 Step Owl Punch, 1/8" Hand Held Circle Punch (retired), Sponge Dauber, Dimensionals.

  9. That's adorable!! I've been meaning to make one of these for years too and still never have. Not happening today either since I still have church Christmas cards and Valentines for the troops to get out.
