Pumpkin Pie Recipe Pop Up

Here's one Pop-Up that holds 2 surprises inside: a recipe and a Pop-Up Pumpkin. Outside: stacked pumpkins. Each was cut out and adhered to the White CS using adhesive snail. "enjoy" is using Black Embossing Powder with one of the small pumpkins popped up with a dimensional. Popped up Leaves with dimensionals adorn the front of the card.

The spine of the card holds "falling" leaves that are first attached to packing tape (to provide stability) and then cut cut, strung up.Right photo: Close up of the popped up pumpkin in "enjoy".

Left photo: Top view of card inside. Right photo: front view card inside.

Left photo: Card fully open. Recipe is held in place with leaves. Right Photo: recipe for Pumpkin Pie unfolded.

Top of pumpkin, cut leaves and Chocolate Chip grosgrain top.

How to make:
Left Photo: Stamp and cut out leaves. Color some areas with Old Olive Stampin' Write Pens. Right Photo: prepare leaves for spine by adhering stamped section to packing tape, cut, set aside.

Left Photo: recipe obtained from Internet baking site. Manipulate size to be 5"x6" (to be folded in half so it becomes 5" x 3"). Right Photo: assemble Pop-Up Ball per instructions that accompany the die. Note: DO NOT discard the 2nd hexagon with a hole as per the instructions - this will be used for the top. Using a sponge, apply Dusty Durango ink to edges.

Sponge the top of the pumpkin, too. For the top, cut 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon, thread through hole, secure ends with adhesive as shown.

Supplies:
  • Stamps: The More the Merrier (level 3 Hostess), Lovely As a Tree, Batty for You
  • CS: Black, Only Orange, Old Olive, Whisper White, Lovely Lilac, Cast-a-Spell Designer Paper

okay so how did you get your pumpkins in an up and down line instead of side to side. I am having so many problems with this set because I can't ink them individually...is that how you did it or when you mounted did you cut them apart? I just can't figure it all out..thanks!
