Envelope Scrapbook

This a scrapbook album made with envelopes. Regular legal size envelopes are used to hold photos and journaling. Finished size of this project: 8-1/2" x 4-1/4" x 1/4". Belly band holds this project together. There is a tutorial for this project is on Split Coast listed as "envelope scrapbook" and can be found also from Paula (her fabulous blog site is http://www.inkingaddict.blogspot.com/ posted on 7/10/08). Here's my version:

Here is the album opened. There are 3 sections. Top section is embellished with Designer Paper. Mid section is for photos and journaling. Bottom section is stamped with a stamped not in the envelope.

Below is a close-up of the top section:

Below is a close-up view of the mid sections with tabbed inserts (Round Tab punch) in the envelopes.
Below is a view of the inserts. 1" strip of Designer Paper is added to each insert.
Envelope page opened:

This is the last page. I added this section along with the strips of Raspberry Tart Designer Paper. This space can be used for photos or journaling.

Here's a top view of the inserts and hinge.

Here is a close-up view of the bottom section. The Big Shot Scallop Envelope is added with a stamped note. I used the round tab punch for the envelope opening.

Supplies:
  • Stamps: Frames with a Florish, Oval All, Enjoy Every Moment, Best Yet (Hostess-retired)
  • CS: Raspberry Tart Designer Paper, Rose Red, Whisper White, Kiwi Kiss
  • Ink: Rose Red, Black
